POWA Boxing: Multi-Agent Biometric & Kinetic Coaching

The Build: A sensor-fusion ecosystem integrating POWA Boxing sensors, Polar H10, and HRV4Training data. The system uses a FlowiseAI orchestrator where "Mr. Leonard" (Technical Coach Agent) and "Yoshihiro" (Data Scientist Agent) collaborate to generate adaptive training plans.

The Tech: FLowiseAI, OpenAI GPT o3 model, Pinecone RAG (for boxing methodologies, sports performances data set and training formulas KB), Redis Upstash (memory)

The Goal: Moving from intuition-based training to quantifiable performance tracking (punch speed, acceleration, power, accuracy, HRV recovery).

OutcomeMD: Microservices Migration & API Strategy

Role: Acting CTO & Director of Product.

The Challenge: A legacy monolithic Patient/MD Health monitoring platform suffering from user experience, latency issues and lack of scalability for EMR integrations.

The Build: Led the migration to a Kubernetes-based microservices architecture using gRPC/RESTful protocols. Leveraged AI to rapidly develop (in 2 weeks!) a tiered OpenAPI strategy to embed PROMs (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures) directly into partner EHRs (e.g., AthenaHealth).

The Impact: Reduced latency to <1.5 seconds per request and achieved 99.999% uptime 2. Increased assessment start-to-completion rates from 78% to 95%3. Unlocked $1.2M+ in projected ARR via the new API product strategy4.

Wearables, Machine Learning & Endurance Sports

Role: Research Lead, Athlete (Ironman OC 2020)

The Challenge: Leveraging health, sports, and fitness wearables through machine learning to improve athletic performances for all endurance athletes

The Build: An early application of the ARMSS model (Applied Research Model for the Sport Sciences,) and Generalized Linear Models (GLM) to predict endurance performance using SAS.

The Build: Developed a text-to-pitch AI prototype serving as a "Trained Nurse" guide for patients within a VR anxiety therapy environment. The system processes real-time speech-to-text to deliver context-aware vocal support during sessions.

The Tech: Open Source LLMs (Medically Trained for Anxiety), Real-Time Speech-to-Text/Text-to-Pitch integration, Chatbot logic.

The Impact: Validated the efficacy of AI-driven vocal guidance, achieving a 25% increase in session retention during preliminary testing.
