Role: Acting CTO & Director of Product.
The Challenge: A legacy monolithic Patient/MD Health monitoring platform suffering from user experience, latency issues and lack of scalability for EMR integrations.
The Build: Led the migration to a Kubernetes-based microservices architecture using gRPC/RESTful protocols. Leveraged AI to rapidly develop (in 2 weeks!) a tiered OpenAPI strategy to embed PROMs (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures) directly into partner EHRs (e.g., AthenaHealth).
The Impact: Reduced latency to <1.5 seconds per request and achieved 99.999% uptime 2. Increased assessment start-to-completion rates from 78% to 95%3. Unlocked $1.2M+ in projected ARR via the new API product strategy4.
